What is site management?
It is the technical supervision of the execution of works or an installation, to ensure it is carried out in accordance with the project, the permit and the applicable regulations. In building, it is governed by the Building Planning Act (LOE), which defines the members of the project supervision team.
The members of the project supervision team
| Member | Role |
|---|---|
| Site manager | Directs the development of the works in technical, aesthetic, urban-planning and environmental aspects, in accordance with the project and the permit. |
| Execution manager | Directs the physical execution and controls, qualitatively and quantitatively, the construction and the quality of what is built. |
| Health and safety coordinator | Ensures the safety and health of workers during the execution of the works. |
The site manager and the execution manager sign the start or setting-out record. Likewise, both sign the final works certificate and are responsible for the truthfulness and accuracy of that certificate.
When is it needed?
Professional supervision is mandatory in building works subject to the LOE. In addition, many technical installations require site management for their legalisation: for example, higher-level refrigeration installations (RSIF) require site management during execution, and other industrial installations need a technical management certificate for their commissioning.
Does your project or installation need professional supervision?
We review your case and confirm whether your works require professional supervision and the certificates needed to legalise and commission them.
What do we do?
- Professional supervision of works and installations.
- Quality control and verification of compliance with the project.
- Final works certificate and technical management certificate.
- Processing of the completion of works and commissioning with the relevant authorities.
