Expert assessments and expert reports
We issue technical opinions to provide objective evidence before insurers, communities of owners, companies or courts. Expert evidence in the judicial sphere is governed by the Civil Procedure Act.
- Party-appointed assessments: an opinion provided by one of the parties to defend its position.
- Court-appointed assessments: as an expert appointed by the court, normally by drawing of lots from the lists that the professional associations (in our case, the COEIB) submit to the courts.
- Damage and faults: design or execution defects, failures in installations and equipment, incidents of any origin within our field of competence, and assessment of the damage.
Inspections and fault diagnosis
We analyse the condition and operation of existing installations to detect the origin of a problem and propose the technical solution:
- Technical inspection of installations (electrical, thermal, refrigeration, fire protection).
- Fault diagnosis and analysis of causes.
- Condition reports and recommendations for improvement or compliance with regulations.
What do we do?
- Technical visit and inspection of the property or installation.
- Drafting of the report or opinion with regulatory backing.
- Defence of the opinion in court when necessary.
